The good story behind Jørna: Danish architect Poul M. Volther created the chair with his wife Jørna in mind. It was supposed to be a nice chair where she could relax with her knitting.

Jørna is a spacious armchair with not only room for the long knitting needles, but also the newspaper or laptop. No matter how big the arm movements should be, there is plenty of room in the classic wheelchair.

FDB Møbler’s J80 chair is an attractive wooden chair designed by Jørgen Bækmark in the 1950s. Featuring an angular frame with a spindle back and paper yarn seat, J80 chair is one of the icons of the mid-20th century Danish design. Its natural look and functional form serve equally well in groups by a dining table and as an individual highlight in other spaces. J80 shares a similar appearance and materials with the J82 armchair and J83 stool.

FDB Møbler’s J46 chair is a Danish design classic by Poul M. Volther from 1956. When first released, J46 was a fresh contrast among the typical, heavier dining chairs of its age. Made of solid beech, the J46 chair combines a V-shaped spindled backrest with a wide, comfortable seat. The lightweight chair will suit dining tables of various different styles, and it also makes a characterful centrepiece in other surroundings.

The bars are the first thing you notice about Erik Ole Jørgensen's sofa, but then it's the rustic and inviting texture of the cushions. Even though the frame is the same, the sofa differs depending on which cushions you choose. Therefore, FDB Furniture has developed five new colors that are in dialogue with this tradition. But at the same time they create a whole new tone and sound. The colors are red, dark gray, blue, brown and beige. Striking colors, but still completely in line with the Nordic language. The fabric, like on the other cushions, in New Zealand wool is from Danish Gabriel.

A piece of furniture that exudes tranquility, design and craftsmanship. FDB's daybed in the Bjørk series is designed in a harmonious interaction between traditional minimalism and a contemporary, soft design language.

The frame is made of solid matte oak. The wood used comes from European forests and is FSC certified.

The iconic "shell chair", designed by Danish Børge Mogensen, not only became a classic in the Danish homes, but was also a revolutionary piece of furniture architecture when it made its debut in 1950. The pure organic expression stood out from Mogensen's earlier furniture that he later became known for, but is still no exception when it comes to quality and timeless design. The iconic backrest forms a soft shell which, with its light suspension, provides good comfort, perfect for everyday living in the dining room or kitchen.
